Profile About Kelvin Landolt: |
|
|
Kelvin Landolt has a varied experience history. His first career of choice was in fine dining service for which he attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Working in French service he cooked and flambéed with some of the top dining facilities in western Canada before departing for Toronto. He arrived with the intention of studying at Ryerson for a career in the fashion industry. Sidelined by the possibilities of increased fortune, he remained in the service industry and studied part time actively for the fashion industry, accomplishing: Cosmetic Make-up Artistry, a summer session in New York City at Parson's School of Design in clothing fashion, finally running a successful fashion label, VBlake Designs, in Toronto. By the mid 90's Kelvin began to see little future relying on the food service industry as a main source of income. Without contacts to encourage continuation in fashion full time, he decided to enter the 21st Century in the everchanging world of computers, investing in a Desktop Publishing course, a Compac Persario, Photoshop, Pagemaker, Microsoft Word and the founding of NP Consultants. Kelvin entered the world of Print Media, with all its challenges and with ambitions of plastering Toronto in huge brightly coloured 3-D billboards. In an effort to establish a new client base, he realized that most client interest was in New Media. NP Consultants began to focus on selling/producing New Media products. NP Consultants has grown to encompass consultations in computer hardware, networking, software education, web hosting and web development. Working with clients on a contract basis, NP Consultants has been able to establish regular clients, most recently acquiring F7 Studio and Poirer + Brightling, known in Advertising and Marketing, developing New Media. Kelvin keeps his hand in the make-up and fashion industry through theatre and photography. He has recently taken his lifetime interest in competitive swimming to a new level by accepting the coachmanship of a local masters swim team.
