Kelvin Landolt comes from a competitive
swimming background; more than ten years in age group competitive
swimming, one good try at swimming Nationally for Canada (Division
2) in 1982. He came back to swimming in 1992 as a competitive master
swimmer. Since 1995, his focus has been more on open water and distance
swimming (5–10 km distance) in competition, for fitness and
recreation.
Coach Kelvin has been posted as the Head Coach for the Downtown Swim
Club, Toronto, www.dsctoronto.ca - a community based adult club offering
competitive, fitness and social swimming program.
He is the founder, director and Head Coach of Oannes Swims (Toronto
based) www.oannesswims.com - which aligns triathletes, competitive
& solo swimmer with professional qualified coaches for spectacular
training events.
Both groups have offered him the opportunity to focus with the adult/masters
Triathletes, competitive, fitness and recreational swimmers; exploring
the finer details of swimming technique and instruction.
In 2005, he took part in a Total Immersion Training Workshop, which
has clearly influenced his approach to instructing the 4 competitive
strokes (fly, back, breast and sprint free) and distance freestyle |
