All swims are guided, with at least one SwimVacation staff member swimming with the group, and Coach Kelvin tailing the group in a kayak or dinghy. We do not race. We tour the reefs, have fun, and briefly stop to see fish and coral sometimes. You can go hard, or you can go easy. Elite swimmers will be offered longer swims. Tour locations change every day; over massive coral reefs, along white sand beaches, around tropical cays. Swims are tailored to meet the needs of different abilities. With only 8-10 swimming guests per trip, 2 groups may be formed, and each group may create different goals. Our clinics will include coaching on stroke technique, sighting and navigation, and safety. |

The clear waters of the BVI allow us to take videos of your stroke right in the open water during the first 2 days of your trip. On the 2nd or 3rd night, we have a collaborative stroke analysis for every guest using her 6' projection screen. During the week, we also cover open water swimming techniques such as safety, sighting and navigation, buoy turns, pack swimming and drafting, with nautical chart reading for swimmers, and race strategy. |
Promenade is a 65 ft, schooner-rigged trimaran, 35 ft wide. The 3 hulls allow for a very smooth, stable sailing experience. The roomy cockpit has a permanent shade awning where we take our meals and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the islands. There is plenty of deck space for stretching out, and the trampoline is a favorite spot for napping or watching the blue waters beneath go by. |

There are 5 guest cabins. 3 of the cabins have queen sized berths. 2 of the cabins have twin berths, which can be either a king or 2 double beds. All cabins are fully air conditioned when needed. 2 larger queen cabins have private bath while others share 2 bathrooms. |

Enjoy the finest prepared gourmet meals, three times daily. All trips have an open bar, which includes a large beer, wine, liquor, and soft drink selection. Water and snacks will be available before, during, and after your swims. Special dietary needs can be accommodated. |

There are endless possibilities for play in the British Virgin Islands. Snorkeling, water skiing, kneeboarding, wakeboarding, sand castle building, shopping, hiking, and napping are just a few. Scuba diving is offered at a modest fee per dive. |
 |
We understand that many of our customers are training for all three legs of a triathlon. Training runs can be scheduled throughout the trip. We can arrange for bike rental or storage for your bike on Tortola. |
