  John Herbert

A Play in two acts of thirteen scenes.

The play focuses on the members of Adolf Hitler's family from 1925 to 1945, examining the affects of Hitler's treatment of individual family members over the years of his and Nazism's rise to power, their reactions and the changes made in their lives as Hitler's fate affects their own destinies. Through this family's history, we see the nature of Germany and the German and Austrian people as it manifested over two decades of fascism, genocide and the brutal conquest of Europe. The story of all characters is based on historical documents of the period, factual records preserved in remarkable detail.

It employs 20 characters and several simple settings.
