A one act play (comedy).

A young gay man with bleached blond hair and effeminate manners applies for a job as waiter in a downtown city restaurant. A critical and cynical Hostess tries to discourage him but he insists on seeing the manager. Miss Burns, the manager, tries even harder to get rid of the gay youth. A middle-age Irish woman named Mary bursts into Miss Burns' office, raising hell about the shortage of staff in the dishroom, where Mary is in charge. Mary hires the gay youth to Miss Burns' protests and drags the boy off to her dishroom, warning him to keep away from Miss Burns.
