  John Herbert
A drama in two acts.

The single set is the large, abstract design of a courtroom in Berlin of the Nineteen Eighties, where Magda Warsaw, a German-born woman who has lived in America for almost forty years, is on trial for the murders of a Nazi couple's children and grand children. The play goes into several flashbacks as in a film, where we learn much about Magda and the Nazi couple, Hans and Christine Wagner. We discover that Magda is the only surviving member of her family, the others destroyed in the Nazi holocaust because Magda's father was a Polish Jew. There are also flashbacks to the home in Atlanta, Georgia, where Madga lived with her American husband.

8 Characters: Judge, Prosecutor, Magda Warsaw, Hans Wagner, Christine Wagner, Anna Moyzek, Peter Hoffman, Sister Victoria Paul.
